We work with the publica tions committee when there is information that we would like to get to the membership. Hey, like this article! So what information are we convey ing today? First and foremost, we want to introduce you to our committee and ask you to get involved. We would love to hear your ideas on what RETA can do for you, our members. You have something to contribute. Please consider joining our committee. What is your passion? I believe in utilizing your RETA passion to benefit the entire organization. yet. But if you join us, we’ll figure it out together. We also wanted to mention, that the membership committee is the member benefits incubator of the organization. Member benefits is one of the things we do. In future articles, we will deep dive into what these benefits are and how you can utilize them. Thanks Jason Daniell Jason has been the Membership Committee Chair since October 2023. He earned RETA CIRO certification in 2019 but has been member of RETA since 2011. Jason is the VP & General Manager of Refrigeration at APSM and has been with APSM since 2018. Prior to working with APSM, Jason was a Regional PSM Manager for Americold and then the North American PSM Manager for AGRO Merchants.

Welcome to the Membership Corner, I’m Jason Daniell and I’m privileged to be the 2025 RETA Membership Committee Chairman. It may be news to some of you that we have a membership committee and wondering what the member ship committee does. I’m glad you’re curious. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what the membership committee did until I became involved. The membership committee serves the membership. That may sound simplistic, but it is the over arching theme of why this committee exists and what we do. The committee works with other committees. We work with the marketing committee to help them bring new members into the organi zation. We work with the international committee to bring services to our international members. We work with the education committee when our committee sees areas in which our members would benefit from
