RETA MEMBERSHIP CORNER

Welcome to this edition of the Membership Corner! We appreciate our members more than we can say, and we’d like to offer a suggestion or two for the benefit of all Members. As a member of RETA-RSES, it is important to try to be as active as you can within a local Chapter, should there be one nearby. This involve ment helps everyone stay informed about what’s happening in the industrial refrigeration world and within their local area. When every one participates, it keeps Members on the same level, strengthens the Chapter as a whole and adds to the knowledge base of each participating member. It’s also extremely important for Members to keep their home mailing addresses, mobile phone numbers and personal email addresses up to date. Without accurate information at HQ, Members risk not receiving reminders, membership cards or certification certificates. This becomes especially challenging when a corporate mem bership removes someone and the only contact information we have is their work email or phone number—

which disappears once they leave the company—leaving their profile blank.

For Members with certifications, outdated contact information means they won’t receive notices when their certification is approaching expiration. Be sure to visit every page of this issue of the RETA Breeze.
