Hello all! I hope everyone reading this is well! The year is flying by. As we pass the half- way mark, I think about how busy the year has been. I have also taken a lot of time to think about RETA-RSES as a singular organ- ization. While there still is some separation, the two organizations together are beginn- ing to show a lot of new life. We continue to see more information about the organiza tion on social media, which is great! News on educational events conducted by RSES or RETA is always good to see. On the topic of education, summer is an extremely busy time for all the folks who work in the different sectors of our industry. As ambient temperatures go up, residential HVAC and commercial and industrial refriger- ation technicians begin to get very busy. This leaves less time for education and training. While time is valuable, continuing your education and expanding your know- ledge is just as valuable. Reaching out to RETA or RSES HQ is a great way to find out how you can take advantage of educational materials and events that can be worked into your busy schedules. In one of my messages in RSES Journal, I discussed getting involved with the organiza- tion, whether it is at the local Chapter level or getting involved with one of the many committees RETA-RSES has to offer. Get involved and you will get a free education. When I attend Chapter meetings, National Conferences or sit in on a Committee meeting, I always leave with something new learned. If you are dealing with a technical issue on the job and are strug gling to figure it out, there may be someone out there who has already dealt with that same issue; and there is a good chance you might meet them at a RETA-RSES event or meeting. Again, being involved at any level always provides valuable education experiences.

Along with news in social media and education in our industry, the RETA and RSES HQ offices have added some new staff. Terry McIver is our latest addition as our Publications Editor, and Allie Dulabaum is now our Assistant Editor. Chantell Schaum burg is our new Office Manager/Controller at RETA HQ, and Kali Grigorica is our new Marketing Coordinator. Feel free to take some time to reach out to any of these folks to introduce yourself and get to know each of them. The 2025 RETA National Conference is closer than we think—, as stated, the year is flying by. Registration is open on the RETA website. There are topics for every side of our industry! If you plan to attend, get your registration completed early and take advantage of the early-bird discount. I am personally looking
