2021 RETA Breeze Jan-Feb

Marketing Committee Report • Jim, Eric T., Sara L., and Dascha Whitmore met to kick-off the Marketing Committee and align goals for the 2021 year. There is a recruitment effort currently on going and the Marketing Committee will be meeting in February. President Teale, Marketing Committee Chairman included the followingMarketing Committee update: o There is an ongoing recruitment for members. All committee chairs are on the committee. Will set up a meeting in February. Executive Vice-President Harper presented the Conference Committee Report Conference Committee Report • RETA HQ Staff, Michelle and Sara, visited the 2021 Conference Site in Schaumburg, IL. The convention center is directly connected to the hotel and the expo space is a good size for our needs.

• Call for abstracts were sent out with a February 7, 2021 submission deadline. • A 2020 in Business Impact/COVID-19 Survey is being prepared and will be sent to members to help guide the selection of White Papers for the COVID-19 Lessons Learned Track. Executive Vice-President Harper included the following Conference Committee update: o Call for abstracts has been sent – please get your abstracts in by February 8th. Publications Committee Chairman Hayes presented the Publications Committee Report Publications Committee Report • Publications Committee needs help finding more volunteers for articles and a Spanish interpreter. Bill Lape said he had some suggestions but has not heard of anyone specific. • Matt Hayes’ email for any RETA Business is: matthayes.reta@yahoo.com Executive Vice-President Harper included the following Publications Committee update:

o Ongoing recruitment for members. Please send Matt at least one recommendation of a potential member or someone you think would write some articles. o Working on securing a translator for articles. Second Vice-President Branhammotioned to adjourn the meeting. Chaplin Lape seconded the motion. There was no further discussion and the motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 3:30 PM PST.
